3D Eyebrow EMbroidery and Yumi lashes with Strokes by Momoi Supe!

Every girl would probably agree with me how hard is it nowadays to go out of our houses without fixing our eyebrows especially if we're not gifted with good set of brows. The everyday struggles of fixing them really take ample time and if you're busy girl like me, we really need help from the masters!

I discovered about 3D Eyebrow Embroidery about last year and I've been wanting to try it. There are few good names of salon and clinic that offers this kind of service but none of them really convinced me to try it not until last month that I have learned about Strokes by Momoi Supe. Just to break it down, Momoi did the brows and lashes of Kylie Versoza, Pia Wurtzbach, Sarah Lahbati, and Sam Pinto (who had YUMI lash lift) to name a few. With just naming those beautiful ladies, you probably know how good he is and how his magical hands work.

I had my treatment done for 3D Eyebrow Embroidery and Yumi Eyelashes lift last May 21, 2017 at their Greenbelt branch. Momoi with a rich background in Interior Design having graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines, you'll be in awe with how beautiful his studio is!

Since I am also curious about the YUMI Lashes, I also gave it a try. It is an advanced technique in Eyelash Enhancement Procedure wherein they lift and tint your natural lashes from the base, making it look longer and fuller. The technique uses organic treatments that are made in France. The lash-boosting treatment was created by Swiss derma-pigmentologist Sandra Viglino. This is the perfect alternative to lash extensions, enhancing the eyes in the most powerful, natural way.

Yumi eyelashes lift would just take about 45 minutes to an hour but you won't feel it because you'll just be lying comfortably in one of Strokes' la-z-boy chairs. First, they will put on the patches on the under eye area and have your lashes glued onto a silicon to lift them. After sometime, a plastic and warm towel at the top will be place on the eye area. They've done it for about 3 times as it will help out on curling and lifting the lashes. After the lifting session, tinting process shall follow. This is to make the lashes appear darker and fuller. Lo and behold, in just one sitting you'll get fuller lashes.

Just in case you're wondering, 3D Eyebrow Embroidery (or Microblading) is a new semi-permanent technology that gives the wearer natural-looking eyebrows. Technically, it is cosmetic tattooing, but this time it is tri-dimensional. The pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the Dermis layer of the skin using a blade that has 12-14 acupuncture needles. This technique is therefore more superficial than the traditional tattooing. This amazing eyebrow treatment ideally suits for people who have wrong brow shape, over plucked eyebrows, loss of hair / patchy areas and won’t grow back or people with thin hair strands. However, it does not suit for certain skin types such as excessive oily skin, problem skin broken capillaries, acne, keratosis, seborrheic Dermatitis and very dry or peeling skin.

You have to start with a clean base without any eyebrow products. By then, one of the staff will shape out your eyebrows. This includes tracing out your eyebrows according to your facial structure and as well as removing the excess brows. Once the shaping process is done, they will put anesthesia in your brows for about 30-45 mins. This anesthesia is cream base, so you don't have to worry. As soon as the anesthesia takes effect, the microblading process shall start and it will just take about another 30-45 minutes for your eyebrow makeover to be done! After the microblading, you just have to put on the after care gel on your brows 4-6 times a day that would really help in scabbing and retaining the pigments of brows.

The result of 3D Eyebrow Embroidery and Yumi Eyelashes lift

It's been a week and 4 days since I get my lashes and eyebrows done. It has saved me a lot of time in doing my makeup. Since then, I didn't bother to put on any eyebrow products and mascara as well. It feels like being blessed every morning to wake up looking so fresh.

Some questions that I got when I posted it on my Instagram stories:

1. Did it hurt?
-No, it didn't. I didn't feel any pain at all.
But, you'll hear pricking sound like and you'll feel that
there's something going on in your brow area.

2. Is it permanent?
- It is semi-permanent. It is not like the regular tattoo that will be there forever.
It could last up to 1-2 years depending on how you take care of it.

- It's not as expensive and not as cheap as you think.
Let's face it, beauty sometimes comes in a price.

Fret not because STROKES is giving out 15% off to you beautiful ladies!
